30 Gallon Water Heaters

For many years, 30-gallon water heaters were a common option for smaller households or spaces with limited hot water needs. However, due to updated federal energy efficiency standards, manufacturers no longer produce 30-gallon water heaters. Today, most homeowners will choose between a 40-gallon tank, which is the smallest standard size now available, or consider a compact tankless water heater. Our team can help you decide which option best fits your space, usage, and budget while ensuring your home stays up to code.

Types of Water Heaters We Install

  • Standard Tank Water Heaters with Standard Vent or Power Vent
  • Heat Pump Water Heaters
  • Tankless Water Heaters
  • Electric or Gas Water Heaters

What does a water heater cost?

That depends on the size water heater you need and if you are in need of an electric, power vent natural gas or standard vent natural gas water heater. On average you can expect between $1,700 – $5,000 for sizes ranging from 40 gallon all the way up to 80 gallon for installations that include the water heater.

Another consideration that will affect the price is whether or not you are converting from one power source to another. For example, converting from gas to electric or vice versa will cost more than installing a gas water heater where gas is already being used. Electric installations can also cost more if an electrician is needed.

Our estimates are always free of charge and we can tell you exactly which model and size will suit your needs and what your final installation cost will be.

Our water heater installation prices include removal of your existing water heater. If you are getting quotes always ensure this is included as part of the job.

Warranty

You will receive a 6-Year Parts and 3-Year Labor warranty with every new hot water heater installation.

Water Heater Installation FAQ’s

  • Q: How do I know if I need a new water heater?

A: Common signs include water not heating properly, rust-colored water, strange noises coming from the tank, leaks around the base, or if your unit is more than 10–12 years old. Our licensed plumbers can inspect your system and let you know if repair or replacement is the best option.

  • Q: What types of water heaters can you install?

A: We install both traditional tank water heaters and high-efficiency tankless models. Whether you want a standard gas or electric tank or are considering upgrading to a tankless system for endless hot water, we can help you choose the right fit for your home and budget.

  • Q: How long does it take to install a new water heater?

A: Most tank installations are completed the same day, typically within 2–4 hours. If your installation requires additional work such as reconfiguring gas or water lines, it may take a little longer. If you are installing a tankless water heater that will take 6-8 hours.

  • Q: What size water heater do I need for my home?

A: The right size depends on the number of people in your household and your hot water usage habits. A family of 4–5 typically needs a 50-gallon tank, while smaller households may only need 40 gallons. For large families or high-demand homes, a tankless system may be the most efficient option.

  • Q: Do you offer financing for water heater installations?

A: Yes. We have flexible financing options to make replacing your water heater more affordable.
